Are you struggling to figure out how to use Pinterest for business?
So many other bloggers make it look so easy. They drive massive amounts of Pinterest traffic to their blogs. With what seems like little to no effort.
And whenever you try to investigate, how they achieve such results. You always seem to come back to the cliché how to setup your Pinterest business account. Which repeats the same old tried and true recipe to setup your account. You know the:
- Convert to a business account
- Enable Rich Pins
- Claim your website
- Add keywords everywhere (profile name, bio, board names, descriptions & pins)
- Add a photo of yourself as your avatar image
- Create good-looking pins
- Join Group Boards (or not)
- And pin, pin, pin.
I’ve read hundreds of posts like this. That claim they have the magic formula to get Pinterest traffic. But here’s the thing. They barely scratch the surface.
Free Information On Pinterest Strategies Are Limited & Often Outdated
They rarely answer important questions or teach you how Pinterest actually works. How to use Pinterest for business is complicated. And you need more than the free information out there to build a successful strategy.
And the fact that Pinterest is constantly changing and updating itself. Doesn’t help either!
To have a real and successful Pinterest strategy can be difficult. And I struggled for 6 months trying to go it alone with just free information on other people’s blogs. Because the information you can find out there these days is usually:
- Not detailed enough
- Out of date
- The most valuable content is often behind a paywall
- Piecing together different bits of information is tedious
- Time-consuming to figure it all out by yourself rather than having a step-by-step guide
- Leaves you doubting yourself
So, let’s talk about what you can do instead to grow your Pinterest traffic the right way. And by the end of this post you’ll know exactly:
- Where to get the best Pinterest strategy for your blog
- What you can expect from the strategy
- How much it costs & whether it is worth it

You might be surprised to hear. That I am talking about Pinteresting Strategies by Carly Campbell.
This in-depth Pinterest strategy course is aimed at beginner to intermediate Pinterest bloggers. And the course aims to help you get massive traffic to your blog using Pinterest. But without the need for a scheduler like Tailwind.
Carly goes into great detail on how to use Pinterest. As well as how the Pinterest algorithm actually works. She even shows you step-by-step how she does her own daily pinning. Which is a massive insight behind the scenes of her Pinterest
She could easily be charging more for this course, it is such a steal at $47. And believe it or not, Pinteresting Strategies used to be even cheaper. As it got a price bump when it was transformed and updated into a course. So who knows how long this course will stay at this price.
What Results Can I Expect When Using Pinteresting Strategies?
Firstly, using these strategies is how Carly Campbell grew her own blog to 200k page views per month. But it should be noted that everyone gets different results. And Carly has perfected her Pinterest strategy over several years.
Pinterest takes time and patience. So you should not expect instant results. In fact, for most cases, it can take at least 3 months to see results. This was true even with my own experiences. As it took 3 months before my traffic started to snowball with significant results.
Why Should I Use Pinteresting Strategies Over Other Pinterest Strategies?
There are several reasons why Pinteresting Strategies. Is one of the best courses for learning how to use Pinterest for business. Including:-
- Extremely affordable at $47, many other similar quality courses charge much more
- Effective. In that, even someone like me who always seems to fail at Pinterest was able to see significant results.
- This course is up to date even, with all the recent big changes in 2018. You also get access to all future updates too.
- You can use this Pinterest strategy with or without Tailwind
- It’s one of the only courses out there. That focuses on manual pinning first. So you actually learn the platform first before slapping Tailwind on to it.
What Pinteresting Strategies Doesn’t Do
Whilst Pinteresting Strategies will do a lot for you. There are somethings it doesn’t.
For example, it won’t write high quality content for you, which is important as poor content likely won’t see much success.

Also, because of the nature of the course. You need to put the time and effort into pinning, creating pins, and managing boards. This how to use Pinterest for
These Pinterest strategies, along with any others out there. Take time to show results. If you put in the time and effort you will slowly start to see results. How long it takes can vary depending on your niche, how much time you put in and how quickly you learn the strategies. But many should see significant results after 3 months. Basically, don’t expect this to turn your Pinterest account around in just a few days.
My Initial Results On Learning How To Use Pinterest For Business Using This Pinterest Strategy
Okay, so I want to give you a sneak peek into my results using Pinterest Strategies. Keep in mind my account will differ from yours. Especially since I was making very terrible Pinterest mistakes. For at least 6 months prior.
I specifically want to look at the results from the 9th of July 2018. When I first started implementing Pinteresting Strategies.
So, within 3 months of implementing Pinteresting Strategies. My results looked a lot like this:
As you can see from the graph, I had a 503.91% increase in monthly viewers and 651.62% for engaged viewers.
What Do Monthly Views & Engaged Viewers Mean In The Pinterest Analytics?
And to clarify, Average Monthly Views are the total amount of views you get per month for all your pins.
Whilst, Average Monthly engaged. Are the total amount of interactions people have with your pins. Including close-ups, repins and clicks.
As a general rule of thumb, the average monthly engaged stat. Is difficult to increase over your average monthly views. After all, simply increasing your pin frequency can potentially increase this figure. Whilst with the monthly engaged you need to get more people repinning and clicking.
This increase in stats shown above. Actually meant my Pinterest account grew from 13,489 monthly views and 277 engaged. To 81,462 views and 2,082 engaged respectively.

Why Pinterest Analytics Are An Important Indication Of Your Pinterest Business Account’s Health
And whilst some may argue that these stats should just be ignored. I do feel like they reflect the health of your Pinterest account. If your monthly views are increasing but not so much so your engagement. This is could be a sign that you need to change up your pin styles, how often you pin or even the time when you pin.
Why? Because whether people decide to engage your pins might be dependant on:
- Whether your pin graphics and overlay text are enticing enough.
- Or you pins might be getting repetitive and boring if you pin a small amount of content too often.
- Lastly, if you are pinning a lot during times when your audience isn’t online much. Then there are less people to engage and your pins will be seen less.
All these I believe can impact on engagement. So keep an eye on your stats. As your Pinterest analytics should be showing an increase in engagement. As well as monthly views.
Also, whenever I have created new boards using the methods in Pinteresting Strategies. My Tailwind analytics have also been better. Which shows the strategies work better than just creating Pinterest boards. Without any strategy behind them.
The Impact This Pinterest Strategy Had On Google Analytics
And because Google Analytics are also important. I can confirm this increase in my Pinterest analytics. Did also reflect in my blog traffic for that period as well.
That’s a 200% increase in traffic as well!
How Accurate Are These Results For Pinteresting Strategies?
Well, I like to change and tweak my strategy a lot. So it can be hard to track when exactly I am using a specific strategy.
But this period of Pinterest Analytics. I know I was exclusively using what I learned in Pinteresting Strategies only. I know that there aren’t any other factors influencing my results.
Whereas, in later months, I know I wasn’t creating new content frequently enough. Nor was I pinning consistently. Both of which I know harmed my results. Because Pinterest loves new content. And I know this for a fact, based on my results when I was posting only new blog posts once per 1-2 weeks. (My traffic dropped, ouch!)
Pinterest also loves consistency. Whenever I miss a couple of days of manual pinning. Like I have done recently because I had to travel back to the UK for family. Again, I noticed a drop in my results from Pinterest.
In fact, my account even got caught in a mass suspension in November. Which took an entire month to recover from, before I could even start growing my results again!
So this is why I have focused on this set period of data. Since I know there are less external factors influencing it. That might affect the results if someone else was to try to replicate it.
How Beginner Friendly Is This Pinterest Strategy For Learning How To Use Pinterest For Business?
Pinteresting Strategies is extremely beginner friendly. It is unique and even has powerful strategies. That even more intermediate Pinterest users can benefit from.
When I first got access to this Pinterest course. I would have classed myself as a complete Pinterest beginner. I was making so many mistakes trying to figure it out on my own. Using only free information from other blog posts to get me by.
If I had started off with Pinteresting Strategies. I think my account would have grown faster and higher. Because I wouldn’t have confused Pinterest or got onto Pinterest’s bad books. I could have saved so much time if I had invested in this very affordable $47 course. Which is a steal compared to many other courses which are often $200-$
Heck, if I had invested in it from the start I would have actually got it for cheaper. As this $47 is actually higher than the original price before it was converted into a course.
How Up To Date Is Pinteresting Strategies?
Pinteresting Strategies is one of the most up to date resources I’ve found. For learning how to use Pinterest for business. It’s even been updated for all the Pinterest updates in 2018.
One of the main problems with other Pinterest content. Especially free content in blog posts. Is that Pinterest changes and updates frequently. Almost all the free content out there is outdated. And mostly incorrect now. With this course, you are getting up to date information and all future updates too.
And since it has been made into a course rather than an ebook. Carly is able to keep it updated much easier. Which is huge value as a learner. She’s already been adding a few extra updates here and there.
Pinteresting Strategies Is The Best Investment To Learn How To Use Pinterest For Business & Blogging
Since applying Pinteresting Strategies to my Pinterest account. Both my Pinterest Analytics and Google Analytics have grown significantly.
My results aren’t amazing, but they are realistic. As someone completely new to Pinterest, I have made lots of mistakes. Many of which I could have avoided if I had invested in my Pinterest education sooner. But I actually waited 6 months before investing. Which was a huge mistake that I strongly recommend
I wasted so much time trying to figure it out myself. With free information on what felt like hundreds of blog posts. I could have saved a lot of time and grew my account much faster for such a small investment of $47. Which is a steal!
Sadly, I took a long time to get over my fear of paying for this Pinterest course. Because I was worried it would be a complete waste of money and time. But my fears were totally unwarranted in this case! As looking back now the cost has paid for itself many times over.
